"I was kind of skeptical about whether the wood would look as good as it did on the website. When I opened the box I was more than pleasantly surprised. Not only was the wood as advertised, it is something that I would have paid considerably more for at my local wood store."
"The delivery time from Ontario to Nova Scotia was faster than any Amazon product."
"There was a small issue with my order and they took care of it in minutes. Literally minutes. This was my first purchase and I will definitely be a repeat customer."
"This was the third time I ordered from here and every time the product has been great, every phone call answered was great help and very quick delivery."
"Unlike Home Depot or Lowe's, these boards were straight as, you guessed it, a board!"
Western Red Cedar is more than just beautiful... it’s naturally durable, stable, and versatile.
Known for its warm reddish-brown tones, straight grain, and subtle natural aroma, Western Red Cedar has long been valued for both indoor and outdoor projects. Its natural resistance to moisture, rot, and insects comes from the wood itself with no chemical treatments required. That built-in durability makes it a trusted choice for shelving, storage, paneling, and creative woodworking where longevity matters.
Each board is kiln-dried for stability and long-term performance, helping preserve the wood’s rich colour and consistent grain while minimizing movement. Western Red Cedar trees often grow with character, so natural knots, colour variation, and occasional mineral streaks are to be expected. These are not flaws, but part of what gives cedar its unmistakable warmth and organic appeal.
These boards are lightweight, easy to work, and full of potential... Ready for your next project, whether functional, decorative, or somewhere in between.
